Hello! My name is Michelle and I'm so glad you're here.
My artistic journey began in the small rural town of Otorohanga where I grew up, I fell in love with the creative side of life very early on, painting and sketching since kindergarten days and I picked up my first real camera at about 14 years old. While I had been side hustling these hobbies since I was a teenager, at the age of 23 I quit my "real job" and took the plunge into art and photography full time.
My work reflects my passions, my love for all things rural and agricultural. Equestrian themes is what propelled the initial stages of my artistic career and I have since branched out into other animal and rural themes from there.
When I'm not behind the camera or paintbrush, you can find me likely galavanting across the hunt field with my iconic ginger thoroughbred Sydney, busily renovating and landscaping our 60s home with my husband Steve, indulging in a cup of tea with friends, or curled up with a good book.
