Hello! I’m Michelle, and I’m so glad you’re here.
My creative journey began in the small rural town of Otorohanga, New Zealand, where I grew up surrounded by paddocks, animals, and plenty of inspiration. I fell in love with creating from a very young age - painting and sketching since kindergarten, and picking up my first proper camera at around 14 years old.
What started as side hustles through my teenage years slowly grew into something bigger. At 23, I took the leap, left my “real job”, and turned art and photography into my full-time career.
Today, my work is a reflection of the things I love most - rural life, agriculture, animals, and the stories that come with them. Equestrian themes played a huge part in launching my artistic career and remain close to my heart, but over time my work has expanded into a wider collection of animal, countryside, and lifestyle-inspired pieces.
When I’m not behind the camera or paintbrush, you’ll usually find me gallivanting across the hunt field with my iconic ginger thoroughbred, Sydney, renovating and landscaping our 1960s home with my husband Steve, sharing a cup of tea with friends, or curled up with a good book.
Thank you for being here and supporting what I create. Whether you’re looking to collaborate, commission a piece, or simply say hello - I’d love to hear from you.
